Dr Dimitrios Hapsas graduated from the Military Medical School at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received his residency in Plastic Surgery in 1998. He subsequently trained at Cook County Hospital and UIC, Chicago. He is the author of many scientific articles and books in prestigious international medical journals. He also holds the rank of Commander in the Navy.
